You will assist with actuarial valuations for defined benefit pension and postretirement medical plans, data reconciliation, PBGC/IRS filings, benefit calculations and special studies. Ideal for a college student pursuing actuarial/math/statistics with an interest in a retirement actuarial career.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support actuarial valuations for defined benefit pension and postretirement medical plans
- Reconcile asset statements and prepare IRS/PBGC filings and participant notices
- Analyze, summarize and graph large, complex data sets for actuarial use
- Onsite summer internship at Bolton corporate office in Towson, MD
- Reports to Senior Consulting Actuary in the Retirement department
