Interns rotate across biometric research, corporate actuarial, and pricing teams working on experience studies, mortality/persistency analysis, pricing/quoting and model building. Role is for current undergrad or master's students with at least one SOA exam passed and strong Excel and communication skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Summer actuarial internship in US Life reinsurance based in New York
- Work across Biometric Research, Corporate Actuarial, and Pricing teams
- Perform experience studies, mortality/persistency analysis, and model work
- Hybrid role — at least 3 days/week in office in the greater New York area
- Requires current degree enrolment and 1+ SOA exam passed
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Actuarial, insurance, or financial services experience
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in a relevant field
- Successful completion of one SOA exam (1+ exams required)
- Proficient Microsoft Excel skills
- Relocate to greater New York area and be in office at least 3 days/week
