Actuarial internship in US Life reinsurance based in New York, NY, with placements across biometric research, corporate actuarial, and pricing. You may analyze experience data, develop assumptions, support reporting, build models, and contribute to reinsurance quotations and client solutions. The hybrid schedule requires at least three days per week in the office, with a $30–$35 hourly base range.

Requirements

Must have

Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Risk Management, or equivalent program
Successful completion of one SOA exam

Strongly preferred

Two or more SOA exams preferred
Excellent communication skills – spoken & written
Proven capability to multi-task and self-manage multiple priorities
Solid organizational skills and rigorous attention to detail
Demonstrates leadership qualities – clear-thinking, curiosity, integrity, and drive
Proficient Microsoft Excel skills

Nice to have

Preference for candidates with relevant work experience (actuarial, insurance, or financial services)
