As an Actuarial intern, you will work on projects directly with our actuaries and will have the opportunity to complete and present a self-directed, business-driven individual project to our senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities vary depending on assigned projects(s) and may include:

  • Product Development


  • Actuarial Valuation


  • Finance


  • Risk Management


Examples of past intern projects include:

  • Enhancing existing process leveraging tools such as Python, SQL, and PowerBI


  • Building validation tools to ensure accuracy of actuarial models


  • Analyzing results and trends given regulatory or product changes


Required Qualifications

  • Current Junior at a 4-year university pursuing a bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.


  • Graduation date of December 2026 or May/June 2027


  • Required to have passed at least one actuarial exam


Preferred Qualifications

  • High degree of self-motivation with strong integrity and ethics


  • Proven organization skills and ability to manage time effectively


  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills


  • Ability to work and communicate collaboratively and constructively with others


  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Base Pay Salary

The estimated hourly wage for this role is $31.00 per hour. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
