JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead reserving and rate indication work for Auto and Homeowners personal lines
  • Develop new traditional and non-traditional reserving and pricing methods
  • Manage and mentor actuarial team members and liaise with Finance and Claims
  • Use ResQ (or similar), advanced Excel and SQL to extract and analyze data
  • Manager role requiring ACAS or FCAS and 5+ years of actuarial experience

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Loss reserve analysis
  • Rate indication analysis
  • Claims metric and claims analysis
  • Loss trend analysis for frequency and severity
  • Proficiency with ResQ reserving software

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of actuarial experience in a similar professional environment
  • ACAS or FCAS designation required
  • Proven experience with loss reserves, rate indications, and claims analysis
  • Proficiency with reserving software (ResQ or similar) required
  • Expert Excel skills required; advanced SQL querying preferred
