Lead end-to-end pricing projects, build rate indications and forecasting analyses, and collaborate with underwriting, product and reinsurance teams. Based in New York, NY, reporting to the Actuarial Pricing Director.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead end-to-end pricing initiatives and new product launches
- Develop rate indications, trend premiums, losses and expenses using statistical techniques
- Collaborate with Underwriting, Product, Claims and Decision Engine teams
- Hands-on operational role reviewing submissions, quotes and binds
- Excel and SQL required; Python/R strongly preferred
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- P&C pricing experience
- Pricing project end-to-end leadership
- Rate indication and trending experience
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 6+ years of P&C pricing experience in insurance/tech/insurtech/consulting
- ACAS or FCAS certification required
- 1+ years in a direct managerial, team lead, or mentorship capacity
- Hands-on Excel and SQL required; Python or R strongly preferred
