JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead development and enhancement of enterprise medical trend forecasting models
  • Analyze large healthcare claims datasets to identify trends and variances
  • Build scalable, automated models using R, SAS, SQL, Python and Excel
  • Remote role (U.S.); Minneapolis/DC hires required in-office four days/week
  • Manager role; mentoring junior analysts and presenting to senior leadership

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Healthcare analytics or medical expense reporting
  • Forecasting model development and maintenance
  • Healthcare claims data analysis
  • Cross-functional stakeholder collaboration and presentation

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 6+ years of actuarial experience in healthcare analytics or medical expense reporting
  • Passed a minimum of five actuarial exams (on the exam track)
  • 4+ years developing and managing forecasting models, including macro development
  • Advanced Excel and experience with R, SAS, SQL, Python, PowerBI, VBA or .NET
  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, or related field
