JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Build and maintain MG-ALFA valuation models for life and annuity products
  • Support cash flow testing and ALM using model results
  • Validate models, perform sensitivity analysis, and present reconciliations
  • Use Excel, VBA or Python for data transformation and model tooling
  • Boston-based role reporting to AVP, Actuarial Modeling (senior analyst)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Life/annuity insurance industry experience
  • MG-ALFA or actuarial modeling software experience
  • Cash flow testing and ALM model support
  • Financial reporting for US GAAP, US Statutory and Bermuda EBS

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Near ASA with 2+ years in the life/annuity insurance industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, or related field
  • Direct experience with MG-ALFA or other actuarial modeling software preferred
  • Hands-on Excel, VBA or Python experience for data and model tasks
  • Experience supporting US GAAP and US Statutory financial reporting
