Senior P&C actuarial pricing lead responsible for pricing strategy across primary lines for a specialty commercial insurer in Lower Merion Township, PA. You will own pricing framework and governance, lead pricing model development and advanced analytics, manage rate filings, and supervise the pricing team. ACAS required with 10+ years of commercial pricing experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Own pricing framework and philosophy across all primary P&C lines
- Lead pricing model development and advanced analytics efforts
- Monitor rate adequacy, loss ratios, and recommend remedial actions
- Manage rate filings for admitted products and coordinate with IT
- People management for the pricing function; act as advisor to senior leadership
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Property & casualty commercial pricing
- Rate filings for admitted products
- Pricing model development and governance
- Risk-adjusted return on capital analysis using stochastics
- Implementing advanced analytics in pricing
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- ACAS required (FCAS preferred)
- 10+ years of P&C actuarial experience in commercial pricing
- 2+ years of leadership experience managing teams
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or statistics
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel) required
