JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead reserving analyses for General Liability and Umbrella lines
- Apply stochastic reserving, frequency-severity and triangle methods
- Translate technical findings for Commercial Lines, Claims, and Finance
- Use Excel, SQL, R, Python or SAS; focus on automation and visualization
- Remote-eligible role across the lower 48 U.S. states; senior-level position
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- General Liability and Umbrella reserving experience
- Experience with triangular reserving methods
- Knowledge of P&C reserving techniques and tail/trend analysis
- Experience partnering with pricing and underwriting on reserving insights
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Generally 6+ years of actuarial experience
- ACAS credential required (progress toward FCAS expected)
- Deep P&C reserving experience with GL and Umbrella lines
- Hands-on experience with triangular reserving methods (chain-ladder)
- Proficiency in Excel plus SQL, R, Python, or SAS
