Senior P&C actuarial pricing lead focused on reinsurance treaty business in New York, NY. You will develop and govern pricing methodologies, deliver analytics to underwriters and senior leadership, and drive portfolio pricing performance. Role is hybrid (2–3 days/week) and partners closely with underwriting, claims and finance.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead pricing for reinsurance treaty business and P&C portfolios
- Develop, review and govern actuarial pricing models and methodologies
- Partner with underwriters, claims, finance and senior leadership
- Hybrid role – expected in office 2–3 days per week (New York, NY)
- Strong presentation skills to translate technical analysis for non‑technical audiences
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Pricing reinsurance treaty business
- Property and Casualty pricing or reinsurance exposure
- Reserving or pricing experience in (re)insurance
- Developing and modifying actuarial models
- Presenting complex analyses to technical and non-technical audiences
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Progressive actuarial experience, preferably with P&C and/or reinsurance
- Solid background in (re)insurance reserving or pricing
- Experience developing and modifying actuarial models
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
