You’ll lead rating and system initiatives, maintain rate books, coordinate testing, and partner with Product, Actuarial, Information Systems, and Operations. Requirements
Must have
4+ years of insurance industry experience in actuarial, product development, underwriting, claims, information systems, or related fields
Strongly preferred
Advanced understanding of insurance products, rating plans, discounts, surcharges, underwriting rules, and rating systems
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including lookup functions, nested formulas, data analysis, and troubleshooting
Experience with insurance rating systems, policy administration systems, and rate book development
Ability to independently lead multiple initiatives while balancing shifting priorities and deadlines
Strong analytical, logical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills with ability to work across technical and non-technical audiences
Experience gathering requirements, facilitating discussions, and driving projects to completion
Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions with limited direction
Experience serving as a lead contributor or subject matter expert on complex projects and implementations
