Associate-level P&C actuarial role on Intact's U.S. Corporate Actuarial team in Boston (hybrid). You will perform pricing analyses, develop rating plans, and support loss reserving including IBNR forecasting using internal and external data to inform business recommendations.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Perform pricing analyses and develop rating plans for specialty P&C business
- Support loss reserving and IBNR financial forecasting
- Analyze data, identify data issues, and build managerial information
- Hybrid role based in Boston, MA (also option for Plymouth, MN)
- Requires 3+ years P&C experience and completion of 4+ actuarial exams
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Property and casualty experience
- Pricing and rate development
- Loss reserving and IBNR forecasting
- Data analysis and identification of data issues
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree required in math, statistics or similar quantitative field
- 3+ years of property and casualty actuarial experience
- Successful completion of four or more actuarial exams
- Experience developing rating plans and participating in implementation
