Pricing partner to underwriting

Closer to an underwriting partner than a modelling-heavy IC because recommendations are intended to shape live pricing, renewals, and growth decisions.

Senior P&C actuarial pricing role on AXA XL’s North America Middle Market team in Exton, Pennsylvania. You’ll lead pricing and portfolio analyses, enhance pricing models, and partner with underwriting and actuarial leaders to support profitable growth across casualty and other middle-market lines.

Requirements

Must have

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Strongly preferred

  • Extensive actuarial, insurance, data analytics, or related analytical experience
  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Applied Math, Statistics, or related quantitative field
  • Near ACAS designation or recently attained ACAS credential
  • Experience using Python, R, SQL, or similar analytical tools
  • Robust analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborative team player with proven organizational and time management abilities
  • Intellectual curiosity, demonstrated initiative, and commitment to continuous learning
  • Attention to detail and focus on producing high-quality work with integrity
  • Ability to work without supervision, manage projects, and influence decisions through analytical insights
  • Experience collaborating with underwriting, product, or business stakeholders to translate findings into recommendations
