Health actuarial summer internship in the Cleveland area, based in Brooklyn, Ohio. You’ll analyze medical claims and membership data, study healthcare cost trends, build reports and dashboards, and present findings to actuarial and business leaders using Excel, SQL, and Power BI. The structured program is designed for college juniors, seniors, and graduate students pursuing actuarial careers.

Requirements

Must have

Minimum GPA of 2.8 (3.0 preferred)

Strongly preferred

Currently enrolled as a junior, senior, or graduate student at an accredited college or university
Demonstrated leadership through academic, extracurricular, volunteer, or work experiences
Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 12 consecutive weeks
Three days onsite per week at Brooklyn, OH headquarters

Nice to have

Preferred majors: Actuarial Mathematics, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or related analytical disciplines
Preferred skills: Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL, data analytics and visualization tools, interest in AI
Desire to pursue actuarial exams and professional credentials
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Curiosity and interest in healthcare data and trends
