Our Internship Program is a 10-week program that provides high-performing college students with paid, hands-on experience, mentoring and insight into our business operations. Interns will have the opportunity to collaborate with business leaders to develop and execute solutions to real business problems. In addition to gaining meaningful work experience, interns will have the opportunity to participate in various community and professional development events. The Protective Summer Internship program begins in late-May. Internships are available at our corporate office in Birmingham, AL.
Student Intern Criteria:

College student pursuing an undergraduate degree; Juniors and Seniors preferred OR graduate student pursuing a master's degree

Pursuing a four-year degree - including, but not limited to Actuarial Science, Statistics and Mathematics

Strong written and verbal communications skills

Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Strong problem-solving skills and a self-starter

Passed 1 SOA exam, preferred

What to expect as a Protective Intern:

Participate in relevant work projects

Participate in Intern Hack-a-thon

Potential for full-time employment offer upon the successful completion of internship

Housing offered on an as needed basis

Hourly wage of $20/hr; 40 hours a week M-F
