You will implement and code life product calculations, validate policy values, support valuation and projection models, and build analytics and dashboards. The role sits in the NF Actuarial team and is an individual contributor typically filled by an associate with 2–4 years' experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Implement and code complex life insurance product calculations in proprietary Life Support
- Test/validate policy values and support run-rate repricing and rate changes
- Build and support valuation, projection models and analytic dashboards
- Hands-on development with VB.net, SQL and SSIS; Tableau/Power BI are nice-to-have
- Preference for Columbus, OH office; fully remote considered for strong candidates
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- VB.net development
- SQL and SSIS package experience
- Understanding of actuarial science or data science
- Reading and interpreting life insurance policy forms
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 2–4 years of financial, actuarial or relevant experience
- Proficiency with VB.net development
- Experience with SQL and SSIS package development
- Understanding of actuarial science or data science fundamentals
- Ability to read and interpret life insurance policy forms and specifications
