Senior P&C actuary role on Zurich's General Liability Pricing team, based in Schaumburg, IL (hybrid). You'll perform detailed pricing analysis, develop rates and rating plans, maintain pricing tool governance, and partner with underwriting and product teams. Role expects senior credentialing (FCAS/ACAS) and significant actuarial pricing experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Price and manage general liability portfolio representing over $2B premium
- Develop rates, rating plans, and portfolio management strategies
- Lead support for pricing tools, governance, and predictive model monitoring
- Hybrid role based in Schaumburg, IL or other US office
- Senior credential expected: FCAS (5+ yrs) or ACAS (10+ yrs)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- general liability pricing
- pricing tool development and post-implementation monitoring
- rate indications and trend/parameter studies
- portfolio management strategies
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- FCAS with 5+ years OR ACAS with 10+ years (or Zurich Certified Apprenticeship alternative)
- Bachelor’s degree in Math/Statistics/Actuarial Sciences or equivalent apprenticeship
- Proven general liability pricing experience and rate indications
- Experience with pricing tool development, deployment, and monitoring
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
