HIGHLIGHTS

Senior health actuary role leading ACA Risk Adjustment analytics and forecasting for individual and small group markets. You will own risk score modeling, transfer payment projections, competitive benchmarking, and communicate impacts to finance and product teams. Role is hybrid based near Minnetonka, MN with occasional work from Madison, WI; Omaha, NE; or St. Louis, MO offices.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead ACA Risk Adjustment projection models and risk score forecasts
  • Analyze HCC drivers, population morbidity, and transfer payment estimates
  • Build dashboards and executive summaries to influence pricing and strategy
  • Hybrid role – onsite average 3 days per week (Minnetonka, MN preferred)
  • Requires ASA or FSA with senior actuarial experience in ACA

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • ACA Risk Adjustment analytics
  • ACA individual and small group pricing or forecasting
  • Working with large complex datasets using SQL or SAS
  • Understanding of ACA market dynamics and regulatory updates

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • ASA or FSA designation required
  • Minimum 5 years (FSA) or 10 years (ASA) of actuarial experience
  • At least 2 years working directly with ACA Risk Adjustment or ACA pricing
  • Strong proficiency with SQL or SAS and large complex datasets
  • Deep knowledge of ACA market dynamics and regulatory environment
