Senior P&C (umbrella) pricing actuary role focused on umbrella portfolio profitability and pricing model ownership. You'll perform deep-dive portfolio analyses, maintain and enhance umbrella rating models, support rate filings, and partner closely with underwriting and product teams. Position based in Suwanee, GA, United States. Requires 5–7 years of relevant experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Own and enhance umbrella pricing models and related workflows
- Perform deep-dive umbrella portfolio analyses to inform pricing strategy
- Ensure rating alignment between primary and umbrella layers
- Prepare exhibits and support umbrella rate filings
- Mentor and delegate work to more junior actuarial team members
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Umbrella pricing and portfolio analysis
- Pricing model ownership and maintenance
- Preparing rate filing exhibits and pricing justification
- Experience with complex data sourcing and system dependencies
- Mentoring and training actuarial staff
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 5–7 years of relevant actuarial experience
- Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred)
- Advanced computing skills including MS Excel and SAS
- Experience preparing rate filing exhibits and pricing justification
