Senior P&C actuarial role supporting the US Middle Market Energy underwriting team. You will lead pricing analyses for large accounts and complex casualty products, partner with underwriting and product to influence strategy, and mentor junior staff. Position is based in Simsbury, Connecticut (US).
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Partner with US Middle Market Energy underwriting on pricing and strategy
- Perform in-depth portfolio and pricing analyses for large accounts
- Build and document complex actuarial models using Excel and SAS
- Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Mentor and train less experienced actuarial staff
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- US Middle Market energy portfolio analysis
- Large account and complex product pricing
- High-severity casualty actuarial experience
- Actuarial modelling and complex model building (Excel, SAS)
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5–7 years relevant actuarial experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- Subject matter expertise in large account and complex product pricing
- Advanced modelling skills with MS Excel and SAS
- Ability to mentor and train less experienced staff
