We are currently seeking an Actuary to support our reinsurance business. This position can be based in our Warren, NJ or New York City office on a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office/2 days remote).

Role & Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Produce quarterly actual versus expected analysis

  • Calculate reserves requirements

  • Ad hoc reports and analyses

  • Interaction with Underwriting, Claims, and Finance

Qualifications:

  • Previous reserving experience

  • Will consider candidates from a Re/Insurance or Consultancy background

  • BSc in mathematics, actuarial sciences, economics, finance statistics, or related field

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Proficient in Excel and VBA

  • Good knowledge of ResQ

  • Knowledge of SQL is a plus

For NJ and NY Only: The base salary range for this position is $116,000 - $173,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
