We are currently seeking an Actuary to support our reinsurance business. This position can be based in our Warren, NJ or New York City office on a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office/2 days remote).
Role & Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Produce quarterly actual versus expected analysis
Calculate reserves requirements
Ad hoc reports and analyses
Interaction with Underwriting, Claims, and Finance
Qualifications:
Previous reserving experience
Will consider candidates from a Re/Insurance or Consultancy background
BSc in mathematics, actuarial sciences, economics, finance statistics, or related field
Strong attention to detail
Proficient in Excel and VBA
Good knowledge of ResQ
Knowledge of SQL is a plus
For NJ and NY Only: The base salary range for this position is $116,000 - $173,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
