Senior Life actuary role in Honolulu, Hawaii, supporting Pacific Guardian Life’s annuity and life insurance businesses. You’ll work across ALM, economic capital, reinsurance, GAAP, ERM, data management, and AXIS modeling while advising senior actuarial and risk leaders. The role offers remote or in-person work depending on business needs and pays $130,500-$160,000.

Requirements

Must have

At least 5 years of experience in one of: Solvency 2, Reinsurance modeling, Axis Modeling (annuities), GAAP, or ERM/ALM
Must be able to handle multiple tasks with sensitive deadlines

Strongly preferred

Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, actuarial science, business or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Experience working in and interpreting GGY Axis output
Ten years of professional actuarial work experience in annuities or life insurance
Strong data management skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to provide consultation on actuarial models and risk issues
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain credibility across the actuarial team

Nice to have

ASA or FSA designation preferred but not required
