Director-level Life and Health reinsurance risk management role in Chesterfield, Missouri. You’ll lead mortality and morbidity research, develop assumption guidance and complex statistical models, and advise pricing, valuation, risk, management, and client stakeholders across the Americas. The role is hybrid, with approximately 60% telecommuting and occasional office work.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Math, Finance, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics, or related field
  • 7 years of actuarial experience in life insurance and/or reinsurance
  • Experience leading mortality and morbidity research using statistical analysis and data analytics
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and liaising across operational, functional, and technical disciplines
  • Experience developing and validating complex actuarial and statistical models, deriving insights from large datasets using advanced statistical techniques
  • Experience presenting complex actuarial/statistical analyses to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience independently learning and using data visualization, database, and actuarial software applications
  • Experience analyzing and modeling life, health, and/or annuity insurance products, including mortality and lapse experience studies
  • FSA accreditation
  • Reside within commuting distance of Chesterfield, MO office; occasional on-site work required
