JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead state filing process for personal lines, including rate development and DOI responses
- Perform trend analysis and translate results into rate level indications
- Use Python and SQL for data analysis and visualization
- ACAS or FCAS designation required; 6+ years actuarial experience
- Based in San Antonio, TX (company benefits include training reimbursement and 401K)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- P&C insurance experience
- State filing experience with Department of Insurance for personal lines
- Developing rates and performing trend analysis for rate level indications
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 6+ years actuarial experience (experience required stated as 6+ years)
- ACAS or FCAS designation required (or equivalent)
- P&C insurance experience required, personal lines familiarity preferred
- Intermediate proficiency in Python and SQL for analysis
- Bachelor’s degree required (or 5 years related experience in lieu of degree)
