JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Price and model M&A and block reinsurance transactions for Nationwide Financial
- Build financial, ALM and valuation models and run sensitivity analyses
- Prepare executive-level deal materials and present to OCFO leadership
- Collaborate with LOB, Finance, Legal, Tax, Investments and external advisors
- Role based in Columbus, OH; remote candidates with critical skills may be considered
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Actuarial experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry
- Financial reporting under US GAAP, US Statutory, US Tax, and Bermuda EBS
- Actuarial pricing, modeling, and structuring for transactions
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- FSA designation required
- 6+ years of actuarial experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry
- Advanced knowledge of US GAAP, US Statutory, US Tax, and Bermuda EBS accounting
- Advanced Excel/VBA and database application skills
- Eligible to work in the US without employer-sponsored visa support
