Senior life actuarial data role supporting Genworth's Long Term Care Derived Hub and Experience Team, based in Richmond, VA or remote (US Eastern/Central). You will develop and maintain complex datasets for assumption setting, valuation and projections, own data quality controls and partner with actuarial model developers. The role requires strong SQL and programming skills and 5+ years in Life, Annuity, or LTC insurance.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support LTC assumption setting, valuation, projections and experience studies
- Develop and maintain complex policy, claims and customer datasets
- Own data quality controls and drive upstream/downstream improvements
- Use SQL and Python/R/SAS to analyze large datasets and review code
- Remote (Eastern/Central US) or Richmond, VA in-office option
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Long term care insurance experience
- Experience with assumption setting and valuation
- Experience supporting projections and financial reporting
- Experience developing data controls and governance
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years relevant experience within Life, Annuity, or LTC insurance
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical or technical discipline
- Proficiency in SQL and Python, R, and/or SAS
- Ability to lead projects and influence stakeholders
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
