Director-level P&C actuarial role on AIG’s High-Net-Worth Personal Lines program in New York. You will own the filings review process, lead pricing and remediation projects, and produce KPI dashboards that inform P&L and senior leadership decisions. Strong emphasis on personal lines pricing, filings, reinsurance costing and cross-functional collaboration.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Own filings review for a High-Net-Worth Personal Lines program
- Lead pricing, remediation and state indication reconciliation
- Calculate cost of reinsurance and advise on reinsurance strategy
- Build and maintain KPI dashboards for topline and loss ratios
- Director-level role based in New York, primarily in-office
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- personal lines pricing
- personal lines filings and state DOI interactions
- reinsurance costing/pricing for filings
- CAT modelling familiarity
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Associate or Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS/FCAS)
- 6+ years actuarial experience in Personal Lines pricing
- Experience with personal lines filings and Department of Insurance interactions
- Strong Excel, SQL and VBA skills
- Familiarity with CAT models and reinsurance cost calculations
