HIGHLIGHTS

Senior employee benefits actuary (Life & Health) focused on analysis, pricing, forecasting and risk assessment for group health, group life and pension lines. You'll lead actuarial projects, produce reports and presentations, and provide technical oversight and peer reviews. Role is with Alliant Insurance Services and is based in the United States (Mississippi), with infrequent travel.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Senior actuary for employee benefits (group health, group life, pensions)
  • Lead pricing, forecasting, modelling and risk assessment projects
  • Prepare reports, presentations and recommendations for management
  • Provide QA/peer review and train/mentor team members
  • Remote-friendly role with ~10% travel

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • 10+ years of actuarial experience
  • Employee benefits analysis and pricing (group health and group life)
  • Pensions and annuities familiarity

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of related actuarial work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related required
  • ASA required for Life & Health careers (ACAS required if in P&C)
  • Expert-level Excel proficiency
