Senior health actuary role focused on End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) forecasting for Humana's individual Medicare Advantage plans. You will own and improve the ESRD claims forecast process, analyze emerging experience, and present results to business partners and executives. The role is remote within the US with occasional travel to Humana offices.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Own and improve ESRD claims forecasting for Medicare Advantage
- Analyze emerging ESRD experience and explain drivers to partners
- Develop data processes and controls to ensure forecast integrity
- Preferred tech: SQL, VBA, Databricks/Python
- Remote US role with occasional travel to company offices
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- ESRD claims forecasting
- ESRD population subject matter expertise
- Experience across modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting, or reserving
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree required
- FSA or ASA required (plus MAAA membership)
- Experience across more than two actuarial functions
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Subject matter expertise on ESRD claims and forecasting
