Our office in Lincoln, RI is seeking an actuary to join our dynamic group of analysts. As part of our team, you will independently analyze product rate levels and rating structures in several marketplaces around the country and make recommendations based on the analysis. You will also work with Actuarial leadership on high impact analytical projects and assist in the implementation of strategies and policies.

In addition, we're looking for you to:

• Utilize advanced actuarial tools to build strategies in that respond to challenges and support corporate objectives.
• Work on innovative actuarial process improvements and use data and analytical tools add efficiencies to department functions.
• Partner with the team of data scientists help construct state of the art risk models.
• Collaborate with members of the sales, underwriting, claims, IT, and Accounting teams to achieve company growth and profitability goals.
• Assist in supervision of actuarial analysts in the department.

We're also looking to bring your strengths to the team:

• A minimum of five years of experience in an actuarial capacity.
• Achievement of or solid progression toward of Associateship in the CAS preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ratemaking principles and contemporary personal lines actuarial techniques
• Strong business acumen, quantitative skills, and demonstrated problem solving ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Programming, data querying, and spreadsheet construction experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in applied mathematics, statistics or related field preferred.

This posting is for the role of Associate Actuary, Actuary or Lead Actuary. The specific role will reflect the candidate's specific qualifications.

The role is located in our Lincoln, RI office, and will be eligible for up to two work from home days per week.
