JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Develop and defend actuarial and financial assumptions and models
- Perform data analysis and present findings to business partners
- Lead cross-functional projects and reprioritize work as needed
- Hybrid role — at least 60% on-site in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC
- Requires three SOA exams completed and candidacy in Aflac program
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Two years of professional job-related work experience
- Experience with MG-ALFA or similar actuarial software
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel data analysis and model development
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, math, CS, or related field
- Completion of three SOA exams and commitment to ASA
- Candidate in or eligible for the Aflac Actuarial Development Program
- At least 2 years of professional job-related experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and MG-ALFA (or similar) experience
