Remote Life actuarial role leading ICS reporting within Enterprise Risk Management. You will own group-wide ICS calculations, analyze model outputs (MG-ALFA), improve processes and present results to senior management, regulators and our parent Sumitomo Life. Senior-level position requiring deep capital framework expertise and strong communication skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead group-wide Insurance Capital Standard (ICS) reporting and analysis
- Work in Enterprise Risk Management on capital frameworks and scenarios
- Validate model outputs (MG-ALFA) and spreadsheet calculations
- Remote-first role with flexible/hybrid telecommuting options
- Present results to senior leadership, regulators and parent company
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Insurance-related actuarial experience
- Insurance Capital Standard (ICS) reporting and calculations
- MG-ALFA experience
- Understanding of GAAP and Statutory accounting and reserves
- Experience managing or guiding junior actuaries
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 6+ years of insurance-related actuarial experience
- FSA designation required or career ASA with 15+ years experience
- Deep understanding of Insurance Capital Standard (ICS) and MG-ALFA
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (quantitative background)
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
