JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead complex actuarial modeling and monthly financial reporting for a large public health plan
- Support rate development, forecasting, and risk adjustment across all lines of business

- Senior role requiring ASA/MAAA or at least 4 associate exams and 7+ years' health plan experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Health plan actuarial experience (HMO or government health company)
- Forecasting and financial projection modeling
- Risk adjustment methodologies
- Rate setting and development
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- At least 7 years in an Actuarial Department of a health insurance/HMO/health plan/government health company
- ASA and MAAA membership or at least 4 associate exams passed
- Advanced actuarial modeling for forecasting, risk adjustment, rate setting, and financial projections
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, R, and SAS
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics or related field (or equivalent experience)
