Senior life & annuities actuary leading Inforce Management for Life and Annuities in Addison, TX. You will own inforce initiatives including experience studies, rate setting, assumption development, and support reinsurance and regulatory filings while managing an actuarial inforce pricing team.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead inforce management for Life & Annuities, driving profitability and rate changes
- Own experience studies, assumption development, and rate-setting execution
- Manage and develop actuarial staff in the inforce pricing unit
- Provide actuarial support for product filings and reinsurance strategies
- Perform financial modelling using actuarial software (preferably MG-ALFA)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Inforce management for life and annuities
- Experience studies and assumption development
- Rate setting and pricing for inforce blocks
- Statutory, Tax and GAAP valuation experience
- Support for reinsurance strategy execution
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- ASA or FSA required
- Minimum 7 years of actuarial experience
- Experience with Statutory, Tax and GAAP valuation/regulatory requirements
- Able to pass a full background check
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
