Senior life actuarial role on the Life Financial Strategy team in Greensboro, NC (hybrid). Lead strategic initiatives to optimize the life in-force block, evaluate reinsurance opportunities, and partner with valuation, investments, and M&A to support capital goals. Present findings to senior leadership and act as a subject-matter expert on life valuation and accounting frameworks.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead strategic initiatives to assess and optimize the life in-force block
- Evaluate reinsurance opportunities and enhance analytical tools
- Collaborate with Valuation, Modeling, FP&A, M&A, and Investments
- Hybrid role — 3 days per week in a Lincoln office
- Senior role requiring 7+ years actuarial experience with ASA/FSA
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- life product experience (UL/VUL/IUL/Term)
- reviewing and assessing complex actuarial models
- knowledge of Stat/GAAP/Tax/RBC regulatory frameworks
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of actuarial experience with actuarial credentials (ASA or FSA)
- Bachelor's degree (minimum required)
- Substantial life product knowledge (UL/VUL/IUL/Term)
- Experience reviewing and assessing appropriateness of complex models
- Strong understanding of Stat/GAAP/Tax/RBC frameworks
