You will own end-to-end MA risk score accruals, validate HCC outputs, and translate results into financial accruals for Finance and senior leadership. This individual contributor position is based in Alhambra, CA with flexible remote or hybrid options.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Own end-to-end Medicare Advantage risk score accruals for a $1B+ MA book
- Validate data, interpret HCC outputs, and translate results into financial accruals
- Build actuarial forecasting models and integrate assumptions with FP&A
- Individual contributor Manager role; remote or hybrid from Alhambra, Las Vegas, or Houston
- Requires ASA/FSA (or near attainment) and 5+ years actuarial experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Medicare Advantage risk adjustment
- Deep understanding of the MA HCC risk adjustment model
- Experience integrating risk adjustment into financial accruals and forecasts
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- FSA or ASA credentials, or near attainment of ASA credentials
- 5+ years of actuarial experience
- 2+ years of Medicare Advantage experience with hands-on risk adjustment
- Deep understanding of the MA HCC risk adjustment model and financial application
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of SQL
