JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead medical cost improvement strategy and initiative evaluation
  • Develop actuarial/financial models for near- and long-term projections
  • Analyze healthcare claims, utilization trends, and program savings
  • Manage 1-2 analysts and collaborate with Clinical, Network, Finance teams
  • Remote role; strong preference for SQL/SAS data skills

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Evaluation of medical cost and utilization savings initiatives
  • Trend analysis and population health
  • Utilization management / care management analysis

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • ASA or FSA certification by Society of Actuaries
  • 5+ years of health insurance managed care actuarial experience
  • Experience evaluating medical cost/utilization savings initiatives
  • SQL and/or SAS data retrieval skills
  • Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
