You will deliver in-depth portfolio and pricing analyses, build complex models and actuarial tools, and present findings to underwriting, product and senior leadership. The role focuses on large-account and high-severity casualty pricing, mentoring junior staff, and influencing underwriting strategy.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Partner with US Middle Market Energy underwriters to inform pricing and strategy
- Perform in-depth portfolio analysis and prepare complex actuarial studies
- Build complex models and actuarial tools using Excel and SAS
- Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Mentor and train less-experienced actuarial staff
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- US Middle Market Energy portfolio analysis
- Large account and complex product pricing for primary and lead lines
- High-severity casualty pricing experience
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant actuarial experience
- Experience in large-account and complex casualty product pricing
- Advanced Excel and SAS modelling skills
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional influence
