Senior P&C actuarial role supporting the US Middle Market Energy underwriting team. You will deliver pricing and portfolio analyses, present findings to business leaders, and influence strategy for high-severity casualty and energy accounts. Role is based in the United States with Liberty Mutual's North America Actuarial & Analytics organization.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support US Middle Market Energy underwriting with pricing and portfolio analysis
- Perform actuarial research, complex reports, and present findings to business leaders
- Build and maintain actuarial models and tools using SAS and Excel
- Mentor and train less experienced actuarial staff
- High-visibility role partnering with underwriting, product, and actuarial
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Middle market energy underwriting and pricing
- Large-account casualty and complex product pricing
- High-severity casualty portfolio experience
- Advanced Excel and SAS modelling
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant actuarial experience
- Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred)
- Experience with large-account energy and high-severity casualty pricing
- Advanced computing skills, including SAS and Excel
