Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Senior life actuarial model development role focused on MG-ALFA model ownership for annuities and indexed life products. You will build, test, validate, and deliver models used for ALM, asset adequacy testing, statutory/GAAP forecasting, ORSA and VNB. This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the Model Steward, based in the US with preference for VT or TX offices (hybrid).

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Own technical functionality of MG-ALFA models for ALM and statutory forecasting
Build and maintain model inputs, interfaces, reports, and databases
Lead implementations for new products, riders, and ad-hoc projects
Quarterly production model delivery and model governance leadership
Preferred in-office 4 days/week in VT or TX; remote considered for strong candidates

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Annuities including Fixed-Indexed Annuities
Life insurance including Indexed Universal Life
MG-ALFA modelling expertise
Statutory and GAAP accounting knowledge

KEY REQUIREMENTS

FSA or Career ASA professional designation required
8+ years actuarial experience with 5+ years modeling experience
Expertise with MG-ALFA or other actuarial modelling software
Significant experience with annuities or indexed universal life products
Eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
