Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Senior individual contributor role in the Modeling Center of Excellence at a life insurer. You will own production runs for ALM, Asset Adequacy Testing, ORSA, RBC, and VNB/EV, analyze and explain results to stakeholders, improve the model development life cycle, and mentor junior actuaries. The role is based in Addison, Texas.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Own end-to-end actuarial modeling production cycles for ALM, CFT, ORSA, RBC, etc.
Translate complex model results into clear insights for finance, risk, and leadership
Lead improvements in model governance, controls, and automation
Mentor team members to build model understanding and interpretation skills
10+ years modeling-specific experience; FSA or ASA required

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Life and annuity modeling (ALM, CFT, ORSA, RBC, EV/VNB, VM20)
Reinsurance modeling (coinsurance, modco, funds-withheld, YRT)
GAAP and Statutory regulations for life and annuity products
Model risk and control frameworks

KEY REQUIREMENTS

15+ years progressive actuarial experience, 10+ in modeling-centric role
Deep knowledge of ORSA, CFT, ALM, EV/VNB, RBC, VM20
Experience with MG-ALFA or similar open projection platforms
Strong communication skills translating technical results for diverse audiences
FSA or ASA designation required
