You will perform advanced pricing analyses, maintain and build rating models, run portfolio profitability reviews, and communicate results to underwriters, claims, finance and senior management. JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Perform portfolio-level profitability reviews and monitoring for environmental specialty
- Maintain and enhance rating models and rating tools
- Run parameter studies and ad hoc pricing analyses for underwriting and claims
- Partner with underwriters, claims, finance and senior management
- Boston-based role; advanced Excel and SAS skills required
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Specialty environmental P&C pricing
- Portfolio profitability analysis and monitoring
- Participation in reinsurance placement process
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5–7 years of relevant actuarial/pricing experience required
- Sound knowledge of actuarial techniques and insurance business operations
- Advanced computing skills including MS Excel and SAS
