As a Nationwide Actuary, you'll be an expert and will provide leadership direction and oversight for the creation and performance of complex actuarial techniques and procedures and risk analysis. You'll manage research and ensure efficient, consistent and integrated data and analysis. We'll count on you to provide a strategic vision to the department and deliver business recommendations that are crucial to the success of Nationwide and the protection we provide our customers. You'll work independently and may lead others (directly and/or indirectly).

We are hiring actuaries to support our life insurance, annuity and retirement solutions within our financial services business and personal, commercial, excess & surplus, specialty, reserving, surety, middle market, farm lines within our property & casualty business.

We use a variety of resources, platforms and modeling tools that include Moody's GGY Axis, Milliman Integrate, MS SQL, C#.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are curious and self-motivated, have an innovative mindset, and who are passionate about continuous improvement. Our roles provide an opportunity to build a hybrid skill set, combining strong technical and actuarial expertise. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance modeling processes and support strategic modeling initiatives.
