JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead PBR valuations and financial reporting for life and annuity blocks
  • Manage and develop an actuarial modeling and valuation team
  • Oversee ALFA/ARCVAL model development, validation, and governance
  • Drive automation, cash flow testing, and ALM risk duration analysis
  • Mostly on-site in West Des Moines, IA with occasional travel

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • PBR valuations for life and annuity blocks
  • Fixed indexed annuity and indexed universal life product experience
  • ALM risk duration and cash flow testing
  • Actuarial model development, validation, and governance
  • Experience with ALFA and ARCVAL systems

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • FSA or ASA designation required
  • Minimum 7 years of actuarial experience
  • At least 5 years supporting life and/or fixed indexed annuity products
  • Experience leading or mentoring actuarial staff
  • Working knowledge of ALFA and ARCVAL systems
