JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Perform state-level reserve analyses for personal auto liability
- Use claim-level and other reserving methods to improve loss and ALAE accuracy
- Present results and gain buy-in with Claims, Analytics, and State Management
- Direct development of actuarial tools and mentor junior staff
- Boston-based role with possible in-office requirements depending on location
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- State-level reserve analysis for personal auto liability
- Use of claim-level reserving models
- Reserving methods and documentation for loss and ALAE
- Collaboration with Claims, Analytics, and State Management
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred)
- 5–7 years of relevant reserving experience
- Advanced computing skills, including SAS and Excel
- Strong communication skills to present technical work to non-technical audiences
- Ability to mentor and train less experienced staff
