Senior health actuarial leader (Pharmacy/PBM) responsible for leading PBM actuarial staff, pricing and actuarial modeling to support financial objectives. Requires an FSA and experience interacting with medical, underwriting, sales, finance and regulators. Remote role based in Baltimore, MD (US).
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead PBM actuarial team and set long-term actuarial strategy
- Oversee actuarial modeling and pricing for pharmacy/health products
- Represent Actuarial to internal stakeholders and state/federal regulators
- Fellow of the SOA (FSA) required with 8+ years healthcare pricing experience
- Remote role; must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- pharmacy benefits (PBM) actuarial experience
- health care pricing and actuarial experience
- experience with HMO, POS and other health products
- management of actuarial teams (3+ years)
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) required
- 8+ years of pricing and actuarial experience in health care
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
