Senior P&C portfolio reserving role with AXA XL in New York. You’ll support reserve valuations, profitability reviews, financial reporting, and forward-looking business intelligence across varied commercial lines while partnering with underwriting, claims, finance, and global teams.
Requirements
Must have
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Strongly preferred
- Commercial lines P&C actuarial experience in insurance or reinsurance
- CAS accreditation at ACAS or FCAS level
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field
- Robust analytical and research skills
- Ability to lead and influence decision-making
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have
- Strong time management and ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks
- Outstanding interpersonal skills for a collaborative team environment
- Outstanding Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with reserving methods and tools for data management and modeling
- Programming proficiency in Python, R, or SQL
