Senior P&C portfolio reserving role with AXA XL in Hartford, Connecticut. You’ll support reserve valuations, profitability reviews, business planning, financial reporting, and forward-looking business intelligence across varied commercial lines, partnering globally with finance, claims, underwriting, and other teams.
Requirements
Must have
- CAS actuarial accreditation at ACAS or FCAS level
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in future
Strongly preferred
- Commercial lines P&C actuarial experience in insurance or reinsurance
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field
- Robust analytical and research skills with ability to lead and influence decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have
- Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks
- Outstanding interpersonal skills for collaborative team environment
- Outstanding Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with reserving methods and tools for data and risk modeling
- Programming proficiency in Python, R, or SQL
