Senior P&C portfolio reserving role in Chicago with AXA XL’s Americas Insurance Business Group. You’ll support reserve valuations, profitability reviews, planning, reporting, and forward-looking analysis across varied commercial lines while partnering with underwriting, claims, finance, and global reporting teams.
Requirements
Must have
- ACAS or FCAS designation from CAS
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, applied math, statistics or related field
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
Strongly preferred
- Commercial lines P&C actuary within insurance or reinsurance industry
- Robust analytical and research skills with ability to lead and influence decision-making
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have
- Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, ability to work well in collaborative team environment
- Outstanding Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with reserving methods and tools for data structuring, access, and management for modeling and risk management
- Programming proficiency in Python, R, or SQL
